Opera Scenes at the RCS

One of the joys of the MMus Opera Course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is the Opera Scenes concert. It’s a chance to perform a range of roles together with fellow course members in selected scenes from multiple operas.

This year, I had the privilege of singing Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Britten’s Oven Wingrave, Don Inigo in Ravel’s L’heure espagnole, Sid in Britten’s Albert Herring, Don Magnifico in Rossini’s La Cenerentola, and Taddeo in Rossini’s L’italiana in Algeri.

Unfortunately, covid restrictions meant no audience on this occasion. Hopefully, we’ll be able to welcome back our audience next time – it’s such a pleasure to share the performance with others.
